Oda Lounge Chair

Originally dubbed the Model 9, the Oda Chair was an ambitious project from the start. Created by Arnold Madsen around 1956, the aesthetic reinterpretation of an armchair has an intricate horseshoe construction with an integrated headrest and beautifully embedded wooden armrests. Offering comfortable support, the wraparound design was initially – and wrongly – attributed to Nanna Ditzel. In 2020 it was rightfully credited to Madsen. Built according to a vintage version as there are no drawings of the original design, the Oda chair features a sublime level of craftsmanship, evident in the intricacy of its upholstery. Available with natural oak or walnut legs.
