Looking at nature and its infinite offers, the Gravel Carpet, designed by Nina Bruun for MENU, represents the values that make a home a home:cozy, welcoming and comfortable. Carefully made with natural wool fibers, up close its smooth curves - alternating in size - evoke the feeling of walking on a pebble beach, but from afar the rug's surface appears to ripple like a cornfield swaying in the wind. The tactile surface is achieved through a technique in which tonal wool yarns of various sizes are wound into tufts. The natural material softens the overall expression of the rug, which will work in any context, from private homes to public spaces.
