This collection is born from the persistent search for new approaches that the loom has to offer.

Combining the techniques used in typical kilims and dhurries, we create a unique set of textures and rhythm through the variation and pressure of the fibers. The changes in pattern, which arise from the tension applied between the weft and the warp, give the rug a nuanced appearance, thus evoking the most primary manual work: the artisan's insistent process of trial and error from which magical results emerge.

Telares required a lot of groundwork and prototyping to find the desired texture. The result is a looser kilim of curved shapes, unlike traditional kilim which are generally geometric and straight. It is hand-woven with Afghan wool. Its rustic appearance and the irregularities of the wool result in a unique rug where you can appreciate the beauty and authenticity of the artisanal work. Her curly bangs are remarkable. Available in 5 colors, each model seeks a range of contrasts with the combination of the characteristic natural color of Afghan wool and a contrasting color.

100% Afghan wool
Hand-spun wool from indigenous sheep in Afghanistan. This fiber has a low environmental impact as the rugs are woven in nearby Pakistan.
